Keep an eye on the mail!
2 days ago I got this coupon in the mail from Amazon! Thats right $10 off any purchase! I got a 504 pack of pampers thick wipes and sent them to my best friend, for a total of $9.79 shipping, which meant zero out of pocket cost for me!
I have also heard that this coupon and the 20% off diapers coupon has been in a few different baby magazines such as BabyTalk and Parenting!

Vitamin Water
A coupon booklet!
I always request these booklets because they come with awesome high value coupons! Specifically there is always one for $1 off dawn dish soap which makes it free at CVS all of the time!
Why Milk?
Just thought I would mention this daily giveaway that is going on! Everyday from now until 2/9 you can go here and try to win free milk for a year, but even if you do not win you get a coupon for free milk with a purchse. For example a free grab a milk when you buy a gallon, or a free half gallon of milk when you buy a gallon of milk.... any brand!
Make sure you hit the back button and print your coupon twice!

Be on the look for deals
This week I was in Rite Aid picking up the cheap paper plates I mentioned before, and I happened to walk by a clearance area. I found a back of razor refills for $1.92 marked down from $7.69! So even without coupons there are great deals to be had!
I also keep an envelope in my purse with a few coupons in it incase I come across a deal while out shopping. There are probably only 10 coupons in there, but you never know when you will find shampoo for $2 instead of $5 and have a $1 coupon to go with it :)

My points... a way to earn giftcards!
My points is a site I've been using for a few months now. Basically all you do is sign up, and they send you a few emails a day and once you click on the ad within the email you get 5 points or more. They also email you short surveys that are worth 50points or more! These points add up and you can cash them in for giftcards!
For example:
A starbucks $10 giftcard is 1,550 points
A panera $10 giftcard is 1,500 points
A gap $25 giftcard is 3,350 points
I currently have 4,640 points! I am saving them up for a $50 gap giftcard which is $6,350 points
Note: I have never once had any issues with spam or anything else from clicking on these emails. It is super easy to do, especially while watching tv :)
Also, I recommend getting a new email address that you use only for things you sign up for online. That way you aren't filling your personal inbox with random emails!

A note about Rite Aid
I am new to Rite Aid shopping, but I decided to give it a try when I started reading about how good their coupon policy was. You can also stack a manufacturers coupon with a Rite Aid store coupon for even more savings!
Rite Aid also have video value coupons, you have to watch a 30second video then you get a coupon of your choosing. For example this week there is a coupon for $3 off 2 Dixie paper products. They are currently on sale B1G1 free at $3.99 after the coupon I was able to get 2 large packs of paper plates for 99cents!
Thanks for the coupon policy hip2save!
Money: A love-hate relationship
What is it about money that we love so much and can't get enough of, but the second we do not have enough, we hate it?
Hating that you do not have enough money is normal, everyone no matter how much money they make seem to never be satisfied with what they have. This is the exact reason I am starting this blog. I love reading other money saving blogs and seeing whats on sale in what store during the week, and I will be posting sale and coupon match ups as well. But the main focus of the blog is going to be the love-hate relationship with money and how to focus more on becoming a saver instead of a spender!
Who doesn't love pay day? Suddenly your bank account goes way up and you start to think of things you want or really need to spend the money on.... new clothes, going out to dinner, going away for the weekend, something new for the house? The list goes on and on, then the reality sets in: what bills are due this week? do I have enough money to go grocery shopping? Will my account cover all of my expenses? That is where the HATE comes in.
