This week I made a quick stop at CVS, because my dog apparently has seasonal allergies and there for needs benedryl. I find it quite amusing, but as long as he is feeling better I am happy.

I bought:
2 packs of CVS brand Benedryle $3.99 each, on sale buy one get one half off
2 Bottles of Pantene 2 for $6.97
2 Dawn dish soaps 99cents each
Total: $16.93
Coupons used:
2-$1 off Dawn from this weeks P&G insert
2- Free Pantene product coupons (from facebook promos) took off $4.99 per coupon!

Total amount out of pocket $2.97 and got back $1ECB for buying 2 bottles of Pantene



Now as it stands after 16 weeks of CVS shopping:

Total amount out of pocket=$31.11
Total amount of ECB received=$46.03

This weeks trip to Walmart

I had a pretty good trip to Walmart this week- so I wanted to share with you what I bought:

Sadly they were out of the trial sized packs of Cascade Action Pacs so I couldnt get any... but check your store for them, and use the $1 off coupon from the 7/31 PG insert to get them free!

This weeks trip to Walgreens

It has been quite a while since I shopped at Walgreens... here is what I bought this week:

3- Peanut M&Ms 49cents each
2- Rice Krispies Cereal 2/$4

I am still trying to Master Walgreens shopping.... I thought Register Rewards were like cash like they are at CVS and Rite Aid, but now... you have to have no more than one coupon per item being purchased. So that messed up my amounts this week, but its ok because now I know.

My first couponing trip to Giant Eagle

So I know its not Thrifty Thursday.... I am a little late on my posting of my shopping trips this week, because well I had not done all of my shopping yet, So today will be Giant Eagle, Price Chopper, CVS Target and Rite Aid, but Walgreens and Walmart will have to wait until tomorrow!


So last week I had to drive out to Western Pennsylvania to pick up my sister from school, so I figured why not hit up the grocery store since they double coupons and they had some good sales going on!

2- Lysol wipes part of the 4 for $8 cleaners
1-Lime-a-way part of the 4 for $8
1- Clorox spray part of the 4 for $8

Walgreens Trip this week

So I have been avoiding shopping at Walgreens for about a year now, because really I do not think they are that great with sales/coupons/service. But that is just my opinion and I know a ton of people love shopping there. So I figured I would give it another try, and get a few deals this week....

Well as it turns out they were out of or did not carry 3 out of the 5 items I went in there for!-Shocking!

So what I did get was:
3 Rolls of Tape $1.99 each, used this deal to get them all free!
1 Aquafresh kids toothpaste was suppose to be $2, but it was $3.49-used the coupons here and paid $1.49.
Resusable travel coffee mug $3.99- I just got a Keurig so now I want to bring tea/coffee everywhere!

So after 1 week of Walgreens shopping
Total amount of products bought:$13.45
Total amount out of pocket: $5.47


*I will most likely not be making weekly trips to Walgreens-unless I can locate one that actually has products in stock and the deals are worth the trip!

Also a survey for $3 off $15, always nice to have!

So I have been trying to figure out what I want to talk about every thursday, and I think the best idea is to show you how well I am doing at Rite Aid shopping!
